The Designer
Martha Reed-McNair, the artisan of McNair Designer BedBag® and is a loving wife, mother, grandmother. Martha is the Pastor of Faith Temple of The Living God, located on 24 Lincoln Avenue Rochester, NY along with her husband Bishop Theotis McNair.
Martha always believed in helping others regardless or race, creed, or gender. Martha is always thinking of ways to help generate funds so that she can help others in need as well as her family. Martha's entrepreneurship came from her mother Alice reed who taught her how to sew and her grandfather Felix "Big Daddy" Boykin , who made and sold wicker baskets, both from Clayton, Alabama. One day, Martha prayed and asked God to give her an idea that would help her family as well as others. Soon after, the McNair Designer Bed Bag® was created. In the gallery below, Martha received a silver medal in recognition in innovative and Excellence from the Index Invention Show.
